My stay was very very good for 4 nights at the Riad Andalib. The hotel restaurant was modest with Moroccan food...

The staff were friendly, I guess that's nice, but a lack of proper hand soap in the bathroom is unacceptable for a place this expensive. The bedding had a mysterious white powder-lovely! I almost woudl have given a good review but expected a complimentary gesture that never came. Never staying here again!

The room was kept very clean and available with sitting area including a desk, lovely bathrooms, for instance. The service was exceptional and the food was local! Besides, there was parking nearby. The location was convenient, so close to Near the medina yet out of the hustle, Volubilis and Meknes, and a taxi rank.

The location in the medina is excellent since it is easily accessible by car/taxi. The view from the terrace over the medina, service and food also are first-rate. The owner (who spent 20 years in Canada) speaks excellent English, lives on the premises, and is intent on running a first- rate riad by being very responsive to his guest's needs.
It is difficult to enjoy the medina without a guide and, at the moment, the owner of the riad cannot recommend a suitable guide, leaving it up to the guests to find their own guide. In addition, the pool is very small and not intended for swimming.

We stayed four nights, and we was treated like family right from the get-go. Reibal was a fountain of info about the sights and even gave us a free room upgrade! Breakfast was scrumptious, and I can't forget Julian, the friendly cat who kept us company on the terrace. Just a lovely little haven!

The owner was extremely nice and approachable for any special needs or requests. He personally gave us a tour of the hotel, showing us all the work that had been done to restore the property, which was extremely well done, clean, and beautiful. The setting was peaceful, which you would never imagine from the busyness going on outside of the hotel. The location is near the entrance to the medina, making it easy to explore the surroundings easily. The terrace has a very nice view and one night we were able to enjoy a bottle of wine up there in their very comfortable lounge furniture. To experience the hospitality of a traditional riad, I would recommend this place to friends.

elegant Moroccan decor, spacious room with separate lounge, fine rooftop terrace view
The lighting in rooms is unnecessarily dim!!! The steep, uneven stairs are a safety hazard carrying anything. Some noise from courtyard can disturb sleep or relaxation.

The hotel was in a central location to see the most important sights. The rooms were modern and generous-sized here with the traditional style, bathrobes. The staff were very professional, excellent services.

The cute mint tea and cookies upon arrival set a good tone for our stay.
The lighting in some areas, especially the corridors, felt a bit dim, making it hard to navigate at times.

This is not a simple hotel but a Home where stay among friends. Reibal, the owner was charming and did everything that he possibly could to make our stay fantastic and the staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming!!! The restaurant was very very good and very quiet and clean, like the rooms!!! The best place to stay in Fes and unfortunately is very difficult to find a place like this in other places!
